    Yellow Aster Butte
Miguel and Heather took a grand finale backpacking trip up to Yellow Aster Butte off the Mt. Baker Highway. There were thunderstorms approaching as we hiked in, which kept the hungry mosquitoes to a minimum. Lucy and Mocha were in Heaven with little lakes around every bend in the trail. 33 Weeks Pregnant Here. For all photos of Yellow Aster Butte 2009, click here

    El Dorado Peak
Miguel and a couple of friends did a 3-day mountaineering trip on El Dorado Peak in the Cascades. There was a bit of glacier travel mixed in with some alpine climbing - a few blisters on the feet on the way down, but otherwise a successful adventure. For all photos of Miguel's trip, click here.
