New Addition:
Since we've been having such a hard time finding just the right house, we've decided to just add on to our existing house for the time being. To the right, you can see the initial plans we had drawn up by a professional home designer in the area.
Now, we know that this is a long shot, but we're going to do our best to stay within budget and to increase the square footage so we can make a profit once the house sells.
Things We're Going For in the Kitchen:
We like the colors of this kitchen and we think it has a lot of the look we've got in mind. Of course, this one is a little bit bigger than we'll have room for, but you get the idea.

- Centrally Placed Professional Stove
- Refrigerator that Blends in Nicely with the Rest
- Nice Tile flooring
- A Few Doo Dads and Curly-Q Fixtures to Give the Room an Organic Feel
Sun Room:
We've both always wanted a sunroom where we can sit and enjoy the morning sun and a good cup of coffee. The pool might be a bit of overkill for Bellingham, but we like the glass walls and slanted roof, and are thinking we might be able to get solar panels to line the top - that will help power our house!
This can also serve as the greenhouse Miguel has always wanted to start his garden plants inside, and that way we'll have more room outside in the yard, and not have to build a second greenhouse.
Bathroom:
This is a really cool bathtub that we saw for a good price at an Estate Sale last weekend. We already purchased it and I think it was a sweet deal at less than $2000! Can you believe it, a designer bathtub in our little house?!
